Meet Linda Kay
As a lifelong resident of the Greater Pittsburgh Area and a seasoned professional with over 30 years in insurance, my roots run deep in my community and the insurance sector.
I currently reside in McCandless Township, where I live with my wonderful husband, Bob, and our spunky Morkie, Zelda Fitzgerald. Bob, a retired insurance executive with 35 years in the group life and health industry, and I share not only a home but also a background in insurance.
I am a proud Mama of three grown children and blessed with five grandchildren. Family time is precious to me, and I truly cherish the moments we spend together.
Sports run deep in my veins. As an ardent supporter of our hometown professional teams, I often quip, “I was brought up Penguin,” regarding my fondness for the Penguins Arena, which I affectionately call “My Happy Place.” Summer nights are often spent in the electric atmosphere of a Pirate baseball game at PNC Park.
My sports enthusiasm extends to Robert Morris University, my husband’s alma mater, where we take immense pride in supporting their sporting events, especially the RMU Women’s Hockey team – a must-see for any sports fan!
Pittsburgh is not just where I live; it's a city I adore. Its rich cultural tapestry, from live theater to diverse culinary adventures, never ceases to amaze me. In this vibrant community, there's always something new and wonderful to discover, and I love being an integral part of it.
A particular chapter in my life is dedicated to The Highmark Caring Place in Warrendale, where I've served as a grief facilitator for the last five years.
Supporting families on their grief journeys is a profoundly humbling and cherished role. It's also a place of personal significance, where I met Bob (a fellow volunteer of 15 years).
Our shared commitment to helping others brought us together, a testament to the unexpected and beautiful paths life can take us on.
